Swim Lessons
Tuition for Swim Lessons is $90 per student, per session.
Session Dates:
- 1st Session: June 9-12 & June 16-19
- 2nd Session: July 7-10 & July 14-17
- 3rd Session: July 28-31 & August 4-7
Class Schedule:
- Duration: 35 minutes per class
- Days: Monday to Thursday
- Total Lessons: 8 lessons over 2 weeks
Class Times:
- Morning Classes: Available
- Afternoon Classes: Available
Parental Observation:
- Parents may observe on the first and last lessons only. This policy reduces distractions during classes, facilitating better learning for students and smoother instruction from the teacher.

Lesson Levels
Level 2 (Beginner):
- Description: Designed for beginning swimmers. Students must turn 5 by the end of August. Instructor present in the water for every class and students remain in the shallow.
- Skills: Introduction to basic water skills; blowing bubbles and floating on front and back. Progression to kicking and arm strokes. Picking up rings from the bottom and jumping form the side.
- Requirements to Pass: Swim approximately 10ft freestyle with correct form. Swim approximately 10ft backstroke with correct form.
Level 3:
- Description: Teaching conducted both in water and from the deck depending on student needs. Initial lessons in shallow end, progressing to deeper water.
- Skills: Focus on freestyle and backstroke techniques. Emphasis on proper breathing techniques for freestyle. Progression to swimming the width of the deep and then moving to lengths.
- Requirements to Pass: Swim 30ft freestyle with good form and correct breathing technique. Swim 30ft backstroke with good form.
Level 4:
- Description: Focus on building endurance for freestyle and backstroke. Introduction to elementary backstroke. Elementary backstroke taught on deck before students practice in the water with instructor.
- Skills: Emphasis on proper form and rhythm for above strokes. Safe diving practices and treading water.
- Requirements to Pass: Swim 2 lengths (80ft) freestyle with correct breathing. Swim 2 lengths (80ft) backstroke. Swim 1 length (40ft) elementary backstroke. Tread water for 1 minute.
Level 5:
- Description: Advanced level, introducing breaststroke and sidestroke. Requires proficiency in basic freestyle and backstroke.
- Skills: Breaststroke and sidestroke introduced after deck instruction. Emphasis on timing, balance, and control. Continued practice of treading and diving.
- Requirements to Pass: Swim 4 lengths (160 ft) freestyle. Swim 4 lengths (160 ft) backstroke. Swim 2 lengths (80 ft) breaststroke. Swim 2 lengths (40 ft each) sidestroke(left and right side). Swim 2 lengths (40 ft) elementary backstroke. Tread water for 2 minutes.
Level 6 & 7:
- Description: Combined class focusing on refining strokes, building endurance, and introducing advanced techniques.
- Skills: Introduction of butterfly stroke and survival float. Practice of surface dives and rescue skills.
- Requirements to Pass (Level 6): Swim 10 lengths freestyle. Swim 8 lengths backstroke. Swim 4 lengths breaststroke. Swim 4 lengths sidestroke. Swim 1 length butterfly. Tread water for 3 minutes and perform a 3-minute survival float.
- Requirements to Pass (Level 7): Swim 15 lengths freestyle. Swim 10 lengths backstroke. Swim 6 lengths breaststroke. Swim 6 lengths sidestroke. Endurance swim of 32 laps with a combination of strokes. Swim 2 lengths butterfly. Tread water for 5 minutes and perform a 5-minute survival float.
Synchronized Swimming
Class Details:
- Tuition for Synchronized Swimming is $110 per student, per session.
- Who Can Join: Open to students who have completed a level 5 or above class.
- New for 2025: Adult Synchro class will be offered if there is enough interest.
- Benefits: Perfect for those who love swimming and want to explore a fun and unique aquatic activity.
- Duration: Eight sessions, each lasting 35–50 minutes.
- Cost: $110 for the entire course.
What You'll Learn:
- Master basic synchronized swimming positions both individually and in group float designs.
• Learn fun underwater skills while breath holding.
What You Need:
- Equipment: Nose clips are mandatory and can be easily purchased online or at most sporting goods stores.
- Optional: Goggles for better underwater visibility during demonstrations.
Finale:
- The course concludes with a performance to music of a short routine showcasing the skills learned throughout the sessions.

Class Information
Important Information for Swim Lessons:
Drop-off and Pick-up:
- Please use the east gate for dropping off and picking up students.
- Exit by driving around the house on the south side.
- For those waiting in their cars, please utilize angle parking.
Safety First:
- Drive Slowly and Carefully: Some students walk or ride bikes to lessons.
- Your cautious driving ensures everyone's safety.
Weather Policy:
- Inclement Weather: In case of cancellation due to weather, you will be promptly notified.
- Classes are held in the rain but canceled for lightning.
- Please plan on attending unless you receive a notification from us.
- One rain-out lesson is offered per session.
Health Information:
- Kindly inform us of any health concerns your child may have (e.g., diabetes, allergies, disabilities).
Attire and Hair:
- Students must wear swim suits (no cut-offs) for lessons.
- Please tie long hair (for both girls and boys) into a ponytail for better swimming experience.
Certification:
- Upon passing the class, students will receive a certification card handed out on the seventh lesson.

Payment & Refunds
Registration and Tuition Information:
Tuition:
- Tuition for Swim Lessons is $90 per student, per session.
- Tuition for Synchronized Swimming is $110 per student, per session.
- Total payment is due within one week of registration.
Refund Policy:
- A) One week or more before lessons begin: Tuition less $20 will be refunded.
- B) Less than one week notice: Half of the tuition will be refunded.
- C) After lessons have started: Regrettably, no refunds can be offered.
